The Tokyo Marathon took place on March 6, and while there was much due fanfare for the spectacles put on by Eliud Kipchoge and Brigid Kosgei, the day was not without issue for many viewers. Most notably, those eager to watch the action unfold in the women’s race.
The limited coverage of the women’s race was echoed throughout the event, which hit its pinnacle when the feed focused on an interview with men’s winner Kipchoge rather than the impending finish by Kosgei.
