OJ Simpson, who was part of a world-record setting sprint team at the University of Southern California, has died. He was 76 years old.
Though he would go on to have a notable football career as a Trojan and beyond, Simpson, along with Earl McCullouch, Fred Kuller and Lennox Miller, would find acclaim on the track. The group ran a world record in 1967 in the 440-yard relay, finishing the event in 38.6 seconds.
Of course Simpson would become known the world over for many reasons beyond the track.
