The New York City Marathon will not only feature some of the best professional runners in the sport, but the celebrities and personalities that grace the television screen.
On Monday, the New York Road Runners released the celebrity lineup for the New York City Marathon that’s set to take place on November 6, and as expected, there will be no shortage of star-power.
While each celebrity who participates has their own reason for running, a few of them will be running for their respective charities. Those celebrities include Ashton Kutcher (Thorn), Ellie Kemper (The Brotherhood Sister Sol.), Claire Holt (The Boston Children’s Hospital), Matt James (ABC Food Tours), Meghan Duggan (Women’s Sports Foundation) Marit Bjørgen (AKTIV Against Cancer), Nev Schulman (NYRR Team for Kids) Tiki Barber (NYRR Team for Kids) Sierra Boggess (Cancer Support Community) and actress Lauren Ridloff (PS 347).
