The Millrose Games is less than two weeks away, and the talent that’s slated to compete in the historic event is elite. Now, the elite field has grown in multiple events.
The men’s and women’s Wanamaker Mile just added two new faces to the event: Adam Fogg and Yolanda Ngarambe. Both athletes won the men’s and women’s mile races, respectively, and in doing so, they stamped their tickets to compete in their respective Wanamaker Mile races.
Fogg, who runs for the Under Armor Mission Run Baltimore Distance Club, took home the win in the men’s mile at the Dr. Sander Invitational Columbia Challenge at the Armory this past weekend, running 3:53.55 in the event. Ngarambe, who runs for the Atlanta Track Club, ran 4:29.21 at the same meet in the women’s race.
It was recently announced by the Armory that Rhasidat Adeleke will headline the women’s 300m field at the Millrose Games. She’ll compete against the likes of Talitha Diggs, Leah Anderson and Candace McLeod.
Yaroslava Mahuchikh headlines the women’s long jump at the Millrose Games. She’ll face off against Charity Griffith, Safina Sadullayeva, Nawal Meniker and Kim Williamson.
The Millrose Games will take place on Feb. 11.
