More talent is headed to Los Angeles to train under the legendary coach Bobby Kersee.

Jenna Prandini and Keni Harrison have relocated from Texas to California to train under Kersee, Pace Management announced. Prandini and Harrison were previously coached by Edrick Floreal.

Harrison has been a staple in the 100 hurdles since 2016. She broke the world record in the event back in 2016 at the London Grand Prix. Her record was broken this year by Tobi Amusan at the World Championships in Oregon.

Harrison took home the silver medal in the event at the 2020 Olympic games, and she took home the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. She also won a gold medal at the 2019 Indoor World Championships.

Jenna Prandini has been a staple in the 200m and in the relays for team USA. She’s won the USATF Outdoor title in the 200m twice, and she’s won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in the 4×100 relay, while also taking home a gold medal at last summer’s World Championships in the 4×100 relay as well. She also won three individual NCAA championships during her time at the University of Oregon.

Harrison and Prandini join Athing Mu and Brandon Miller as the latest Texas-based athletes to make the move to Los Angeles to train under Kersee.

I’m a sports journalist based in Florida and I’ve covered a couple of different sports so far early on in my career, but I love the sport of track and field and the art of running. Everyone has a story and everyone has a story worth telling. My prayer is that the stories of the great athletes of this sport are told, and that the sport grows to new creative heights, so that the sport gets the respect it deserves.
