AthleteBiz, which has been creatively supporting elite and Olympic-level athletes and their fans for over 14 years, is celebrating the 10 year anniversary of its unique YourNextSuccess career program. It is no secret that the transition from an athletic career to post-athletic life is often very difficult. Every individual is different but the challenges range from a loss of identity and purpose, loss of community and daily structure, and the confidence-killing effect of a “resume gap”.
AthleteBiz, with the generous support of executive career coaches, money management experts and over 150 prominently credentialed leaders who offer to mentor and open doors, has helped hundreds of recent college grads, active pros and retired athletes in small and big ways. These athletes universally possess extraordinary, marketable personal qualities but often need a little help to translate and assertively apply these highly-valued characteristics in a new environment.
An important boost to this quest happened in 2021 when the USATF Foundation partnered with AthleteBiz to directly market these services to their athlete grantees. They have become the primary focus on this program in recent years.
