Olivia Markezich of the On Athletics Club has signed with HAWI Management agency.
Markezich recently completed her collegiate career with Notre Dame which included nine All-American honors, four NCAA Championship runner-up performances, and the 2023 NCAA Championship title in the 3000m Steeplechase. Since completing her time with the Fighting Irish, Olivia, who had signed an NIL deal with On while at Notre Dame, was part of a trio of NCAA Champions who joined the On Athletics Club training group coached by Dathan Ritzenhein in Boulder, CO.
At the 2024 Olympic Trials, Markezich placed sixth in the steeplechase. She was a contender for the podium through the race, however a difficult landing on the last water jump was unfortunately followed by a stumble over the last hurdle. She is scheduled to contest the steeplechase at the upcoming Diamond League meeting in Paris on July 7.
Olivia holds personal a best time of 9:14.87 in the steeplechase, which she set at the aforementioned Olympic Trials in Eugene.
From their founding in 2005 with just a single client, Meb Keflezighi, HAWI Management now represents many of the USA and world’s top athletes on the roads and the track, including Nikki Hiltz, Keturah Orji, CJ Allen, and Maggie Malone-Hardin. In total, HAWI Management represents over 50 currently competing and retired athletes.
