World Athletics announced the launch of Athletics Rush, a runner-style mobile game that, in its introductory period, offers the chance to earn rewards and prizes through gameplay.
Starting today, you can download Athletics Rush from Google Play and the App Store. This game allows you to tackle athletics challenges, travel through various countries, and compete against players worldwide on international leaderboards.
To celebrate the launch, World Athletics is offering prizes to players who sink some time into the game. By climbing to the top 100 of the leaderboard by August 25th, you could win headsets from Sony, footwear and apparel, in addition to World Athletics branded items. If you’re among the top 10,000 players, you will be entered into a drawing for the top prize – a VIP trip to the 2025 Tokyo World Championships.
Per World Athletics, “Integrating various athletics events into gameplay, Athletics Rush introduces players to the exhilarating world of the sport. Users can perfect their skills in diverse game modes, collect medals and climb leaderboards in pursuit of prizes.”
