Following all the great track and field content on YouTube can be quite an undertaking. We watch through as much as we can throughout the week to highlight what particularly stood out to us.

Should there be additional video content you believe should be on our regular rotation, please tell us about it here in the Wind Aided forum. Also, make sure to check out all the great channels posted to our channel glossary and maybe you will find something new to add to your feed!

Total Running Productions

In TRP’s usual style they celebrate Matthew Boling’s recent swift 200m in 19.92 (!) and his season that led up to this moment. No question that Mr. Boling has definitely signaled that he is truly among the world’s elite and a force to reckoned with at NCAAs.

LetsRun

The LR team chat about the unique fact that the top USA male (Fauble) and top USA female (Rojas) in the Boston Marathon each ran as unsponsored athletes…in Nike shoes…after recently being sponsored by another brand.

Paul Chelimo

Beautiful footage in Iten, Kenya as Paul chats with Venezuelian Olympian Luis Orta and as he hammers a significant track workout. Paul has been training in Kenya since December and is now back in the states.

Tinman Elite

Call it an infomercial for Adidas but this is pretty cool behind the scenes look at the Tinman team working with their sponsor brand to test some shoe designs and to film a slick promo video.

A special inside look at the days leading up to Reed Fisher’s huge sub 2:11, 5th place American, Boston Marathon. This video connects the viewer with Reed. Stay for the end when Reed briefly describes his race. Anyone who has run a marathon can relate to how “trashed” he feels (mixed with the joy of accomplishment).

World Athletics

I’m loving these sweet, succinct highlights pulled together by WA. This is the Golden Games meet with the many sprinter exploits including Twanisha Terry, Gabby Thomas and Michael Terry.

FloTrack

Drew Hunter’s 2016 High School Distance Medley anchor never gets old. Kevin Sully does one of his “race breakdown” commentaries about this epic Penn Relays moment.

Allie Ostrander

Allie turns a “frustrating/bad” workout experience into an opportunity to share the three steps she takes to deal these moments in a productive way. Expect some good advice in this video.

Track & Field Nation

The case is made, via video clips and stats, that Fred Kerley is the best sprinter in the world right now. Yes, maybe that’s already obvious to you, but it’s fun to see it laid out to see. Time will tell if he’s showing just a bit too much sharpness this early in this World Champs season.

The Athlete Special

As Spencer continues his quest to get a fitness level that will produce a 3:37 1500m he laments the challenge, especially mentally, of training solo most of the time. He reflects on the lift he got in the past from training with his high school, college and Brooks Beasts’ teammates. Spencer will learn a lot about where he is from his race this weekend at Stanford.

Jack Wickens

A timely conversation with neighbor Jim Spivey (3:49 miler) in 2006 was the catalyst for what is now Jack’s favorite philanthropic hobby - empowering pro athletes to succeed “off the track” and connect fans to this awesome sport. Jack leads the USA Track & Field Foundation’s athlete grant program and he founded AthleteBiz, the non-profit driver of this Fan Hub.
