The stage is set for the stars to shine in the women’s 300m at the Millrose Games in February.

Last week, it was announced that Abby Steiner, Jenna Prandini and Brittany Brown would headline what’s shaping up to be an impressive field in the event.

“I am beyond excited to be running at this historic meet for the first time in my professional career,” Steiner said in the press release. “I’m looking forward to the atmosphere, fans, and great competition that Millrose always provides!”

Steiner is coming off of a remarkable season last year on the track. While running in her final season for the University of Kentucky, she won three national championships (one indoor, two outdoor). She then won the USATF National Championship title in the women’s 200m, while also taking home a gold medal in the women’s 4x100m relay at the World Championships in Eugene.

Jenna Prandini is a two-time USATF National Champion in the women’s 200m, and was also a member of the 4x100m team that won gold at last summer’s World Championships in Oregon. She was also apart of the women’s 4x100m relay team that took home the silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Brittany Brown is no stranger to the big stage when it comes to running. She took home the silver medal in the women’s 200m at the 2019 World Championships in Doha. She also took home the gold medal at the 2022 NACAC Championships. Her best time this season in the event was 21.99, which was one of the best in the United States.

The Millrose Games will be held on February 11 at the Amory in New York.

I’m a sports journalist based in Florida and I’ve covered a couple of different sports so far early on in my career, but I love the sport of track and field and the art of running. Everyone has a story and everyone has a story worth telling. My prayer is that the stories of the great athletes of this sport are told, and that the sport grows to new creative heights, so that the sport gets the respect it deserves.
