Following all the great track and field content on YouTube can be quite an undertaking. We watch through as much as we can throughout the week to highlight what particularly stood out to us.
Should there be additional video content you believe should be on our regular rotation, please tell us about it here in the Wind Aided forum. Also, make sure to check out all the great channels posted to our channel glossary and maybe you will find something new to add to your feed!
Citius Mag
Ryan Hall is on the bike as Rory and Edward hammer out 1K after 1K in the thin air of Flagstaff. Gotta say that Cheserek looks silky smooth, but Rory appeared to be right there throughout. Edward ran a half marathon less than a week before.
L & L
The Newbury boys take control of their own hype. Pre-race chatter and then race footage on another incredible day of 1:48 800s by Colin and Aaron Sahlman and followed by a 4:00.77 mile by junior Leo Young. They share a few next-day thoughts while running a “super easy” 12 miler. It’s these kids world, and we’re just living in it.
The Runner
Fairly thin commentary and expression of frustrations with Bekele due to his limited sharing (“vague”) of reasons or training updates….but lots of nice mini-clips of Bekele’s races. Speculation about his potential retirement.

Watch the NC State women lay down a significant, but controlled workout of 1200’s, 800’s, 400’s and 200’s. The “pack” running and comradery is impressive and great to see, Katelyn Tuohy gets some of the camera focus, but we especially enjoy seeing Fan Hub contributor Marlee Starliper looking strong as she works her way back from a couple years of injuries.
Katelyn Tuohy shares in a brief interview the difference in fan attention and associated stress in college versus high school. “It was hard in high school.” She’s looking forward to Penn Relays. She loves relays like she loves cross country.
Total Running Productions
This post is a good introduction to a rising star in the sprints, particularly in the 200m. The video clips demonstrate that Fahnbulleh’s closing speed is extraordinary, though his starts are often weak. A ton of upside for a guy who has already run sub-20?!?
Very Nice Track Club
Narrated by the originator, Coach Warhurst. Fun to watch Nick Willis, Mason Ferlic and Hobbs Kessler grinding through this famous (infamous?) workout. Natalie Cizmus: “It’s a humbling workout”.
Sweat Elite
Yuki Kawauchi, legendary/prolific racer prepping for the Boston Marathon. Yuki answers a few questions that reveal how he reflects on past performances, his current training, and his upcoming goals. We get to watch a recent 10X1K for Yuki and his training mates. If you’re a fan of Yuki, a genuinely unique runner, this 18 minute video will hold your interest.
