Following all the great track and field content on YouTube can be quite an undertaking. We watch through as much as we can throughout the week to highlight what particularly stood out to us.

Should there be additional video content you believe should be on our regular rotation, please tell us about it here in the Wind Aided forum. Also, make sure to check out all the great channels posted to our channel glossary and maybe you will find something new to add to your feed!

New Generation Track & Field

Cooper Teare and Cole Hocker let us get an inside look at a day-in-the-life pursuit of a very fast 5K outdoor world standard. “We are crazy fit.” Spoiler…they get it done.

The Athlete Special

Spencer delivers Episode 2 of his build-up toward a season goal of a 3:37 1500m. Clips and chatter about a week of workouts. He deals with a highly relatable cautiousness with soreness that could turn into an injury.

FloTrack

Workout Wednesday with HOKA NAZ Elite with focus on Alice Wright and Danielle Shanahan. Effort based threshold runs on Lake Mary, “nothing too fancy”. The beauty of the area, visible snow, along with very comfortable temps always makes for a nice backdrop to these workout videos in Flagstaff.

Bryce Hoppel’s post World Indoors bronze medal 800m interview. “Honestly a little disappointed…Gotta start from somewhere.” Fast start caught him off guard. A rare moment when Bryce didn’t get the race tactics exactly right, yet still got the bronze.

Total Running Productions

“There was more to the 1500m race than meets eye.” Analysis of the video replay suggests that Jacob Ingebrigtsen lacked some of his typical racing confidence. A day later he revealed that he had COVID. Tefera earned the win but “what if” questions are inevitable. “One of the more unique storylines we’ve seen this season.”
