It’s widely known that Tyreek Hill is one of the fastest players in the NFL. But can he keep up with the superstars on the track?
One of the fastest 100m sprinters in college track and field wants the opportunity to see if Hill can do just that. Oregon’s Micah Williams extended the offer to race Hill after he finishes his season with the Miami Dolphins.
Hey @cheetah – I heard you got some speed 😉 you want to race after your season?! I saw you ran a 9.98 but you had a small hurricane at your back 💨💨 @espn @BleacherReport @overtime what’s good?

Hill issued a response to William’s offer to race.

Williams had a sensational season for the Ducks last year, and is looking to continue to build upon his success. In the 100m, he ran a personal best time of 9.86 at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championship Preliminary meet. He also ran a wind-aided time of 9.83 at the Mt. Sac Relays.
Hill has a personal best time of 10.19 in the 100m that he set back in 2012. He also ran a wind-aided time of 9.98 in 2013.
In the NFL, Hill has been a nightmare for opposing defenses. He’s caught 566 passes for 7863 yards and 66 touchdowns in his seven-year career thus far.
Only time will tell if the speedy receiver and former sprinter return to the track against the world’s elite.
