Bullis High School delivered one of the standout moments of the 2026 Penn Relays when it captured the Championship of America 4×400-meter title at Franklin Field. Anchored by star senior Quincy Wilson, Bullis became the first U.S. school in 19 years to win the prestigious event, ending the recent dominance of Jamaican powerhouse Kingston College. In cold, rainy conditions, Bullis rose to the occasion with an electrifying performance that had been anticipated all day by the Penn Relays crowd. Zayden Saxton got the relay started for Bullis with Cameron Homer and Gideon Newton taking the second and third legs before passing the baton to Wilson to break the tape.
Quincy Wilson has quickly emerged as one of the most accomplished young sprinters in American track and field history. In 2024, at just 16 years old, he qualified for Team USA’s men’s 4×400-meter relay pool for the Paris Olympics, making him the youngest American male track and field Olympian ever. Team USA went on to win gold, giving Wilson an Olympic title and making him one of the youngest Olympic gold medalists in track and field history. He plans to attend the University of Maryland in the fall.
