Running is such an incredible sport, and it has given me so much throughout my life. However, in the last year and a half, I’ve been through a really challenging string of injuries that forced me to take a step back from the competitive running world. My passion for the sport was still as strong as ever, but I realized that if I wanted to be able to consistently train and stay healthy, I needed a break from the constant stress of training and competition. This was about 5 months ago. Now, after a long period off running and a long, slow build back into running, I am starting to incorporate workouts and see the fitness come back! I am so excited to be able to run again and feel good doing it. The time away only made me appreciate running more, and I truly love my life right now.
